Texas A&M International University has joined together with many of the top schools across the country to provide pre-matriculation alcohol education to all new students. AlcoholEdu is a thoughtful, educating and engaging program for college students committed to thinking about their life choices. We require every new, incoming TAMIU students to complete AlcoholEdu.

National Alcohol Screening Day (NASD) is an outreach, education, and screening initiative that raises awareness about risky behavior associated with alcohol consumption. Screening and brief intervention (SBI) for alcohol use is an evidence-based intervention to reduce risky behaviors and related consequences.
The primary goals of the program:
NASD is held annually on Thursday of the first full week of April.
Happy Hour is designed to promote a safe and responsible behavior regarding alcohol consumption. Students educate students while drinking some "mocktails." Join the conversation to promote safety in our campus. Also, as part of the "U in the Driver Seat" program, Happy Hour includes various activities such as:
We know that this birthday is a milestone, and we want to wish you the best. Be safe and enjoy yourself on this special day. If you choose to celebrate with alcohol, please be responsible. Don't overdo it and think before you drink. Never drive under the influence; arrange for a safe ride home. Make this a birthday to remember! All it takes is one poor decision.
